Yeshua was asked by His disciples, why is it taught by the scribes that Elijah will precede the coming of the Messiah?  Elijah will come before the second coming of Yeshua.  Elijah is one of the two witnesses in Revelation 11.  Yeshua explained that the ministry of Elijah is the restoration of all things.  The Elijah ministry prepares the Bride of Yeshua for His coming by calling her to not only return to His Torah but his ministry also explains that Yeshua will gather and unite the twelve tribes of Israel and bring the exiles of Israel back to the land of Israel.
